Beginner through Advanced Levels

For the beginner, we recommend an hour package of lessons so that we can include grooming and tacking instruction.  During lessons, riders may use their own horse* or one of ours.
Rates for each are listed below.

Series Package (once-a-week lessons)

Four half-hour lessons    Own Horse $90     Mikenda Farm Horse $110

Super Series Package (twice-a-week lessons)

Eight half-hour lessons    Own Horse $160     Mikenda Farm Horse $195

Eight one-hour lessons    Own Horse $230     Mikenda Farm Horse $260

Series Package lessons may be private or semi-private.

Super Series Package clients must ride a minimum of twice per week.  Series are nontransferable and nonrefundable, individual buyer/rider only; must be specific for own horse or Mikenda Farm horse. All series have a two-month expiration from date of purchase. Reservations are required for all riding. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time. Cancellations less than two hours in advance will be charged a 50% surcharge (or one series punch). Payment should be made directly to Mikenda Farm. Riding lessons may be given by any of the instructors teaching at Mikenda Farm.
