Mikenda Farm 4H Minutes

Our president KC Campbell called the meeting to order at 5:07 PM. For the songs the president and the secretary sang the camp song “Yogi Bear”. Their were no previous minutes to be approved. Our Vice President read the treasure. The current balance as of July 29, 2011 is $1,886.47.

New business

Officer Elections: KC went over the requirements of officer positions and then asked for nominations.

Nominations can be taken up to our next meeting. Email them to Ms. Brenda. We will vote on officer positions at our next meeting Sept 13, 2011.

We took a break for “group activities” and refreshments. We broke into the kids group and played the games “honey if you love me” and “bang”.

Our secretary, Mikayla motioned to plan our next meeting for September 13, 2011 at 7:00 PM and Jamie seconded. The motion was carried. Then our vice president, Jem, motioned to have our meetings the seconded tuesday at 7:00pm and on the fourth Sunday at 5pm of each month. Motion was seconded by our secretary, Mikayla. The members voted, the motion was carried. Then we discussed whether or not we should have the hallow hunted hayride, what date we should have it, and if we wanted it to be two days or not. We voted and the vote was yes to have the haunted hayride. But we have not decided if we wanted it to be two days or one and what date it should be.
