Nov 18 4-H Meeting 7:00-7:53
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 by KC. She led us in the Pledge of Allegiance and the 4-H pledge. The club joined in singing “Jingle Bell Rock.” Jem did the roll call then read the minutes of the previous meeting, November 8. KC approved the minutes and Rachel seconded the motion. Mikayla did not go over the treasurer’s report, it is the same as last meeting - $3,079.01.
Unfinished business: Relay for Life. KC went over the events of the Kick Off. Dominoes and Olive Garden donated food. 8 teams signed up at the Kickoff-the most teams signed up for a first time Relay. We briefly discussed the two teams, the borders and the 4-Hers and how we will need to separate the kids and adults evenly. A pony ride was suggested for the fundraiser. The Relay is May 29th-30th.
New business: Cracker Christmas, which is taking place Dec 6th and 7th. The club will not be selling chex mix like the past years, but instead will do a photo booth. It was discussed that people can get their pictures on a disc for $15 and a disc can hold up to 12 or so pictures. We discussed that we will need time to get together to create backdrops and scenes for the pictures. The committees created during the meeting are:
