The 4H and horse border’s Christmas party at Mikenda Farm was planned for December 14th at 5pm. It will be potluck. We needed big tables which Ashley said she could supply again.
New business:
4H gift exchange was discussed and it was decided to do Secret Santas with the price cap at $15. Everyone drew names and gifts should be brought to the Christmas party on December 14th.
It was agreed that the next 4H meeting which was scheduled for Sunday, December 7th is cancelled. Instead Brenda addressed briefly what she would have talked about on Sunday. Anyone interested or even slightly interested in participating in the county and district 4H shows in the spring must complete a qualification form that needs to be in the county office by December 31st. If the child does not own a horse, a lease form must also accompany the qualification form. Also, both a project report and record book must be completed and turned in by every child before the county show.
Brenda said she had divided up Haunted Hayride profits among 4-H members based on how much time they had put into working on the fundraiser and how many tickets they had sold.

Jem, Mouna, Catie = $130
