Mikenda Farm 4h Club
September 13, 2009 Minutes
The meeting was called to order at 4:25 by KC Campbell and was seconded by Jem Mason. KC led the club in the American and 4-H pledges. Mikayla Kearney led the club in singing The Coconut Song. Jem took roll and read the minutes of the previous meeting. KC motioned for approval and Elise seconded. Mikayla gave the treasurer’s report and as of 8/31, the club has $2,268.29 in the account.
Unfinished Business
Rachel Casel discussed the County Council meeting she attended on Sept 3rd. They elected officers for the advisory committee, and discussed goals, events, and fundraisers.
Ballots were passed out for officer and leader positions for the new year. Those running gave a short speech about why they wanted to run for that position. The club voted for 09-10 club officers and tallied the votes. These are the results:

New Business
Committees were formed for the Halloween Hayride; see Mrs. Nancy for the list. The set up day will be October 18th. The dry run will be October 23rd and the actual event, the 24th. We split into our committees to discuss and exchange ideas and plans.
