Mikenda Farm 4-H was called to order at 7:26 on Tuesday, the 16^th of September by KC, our new president. Ashley, our former president and new parliamentarian, swore in the new officers. KC then led us in the American and 4-H pledges. Mikayla sang us a song. Jem called roll and read the minutes of the previous meeting. Callie approved and Ashley seconded. Mikayla gave us the Treasurer’s report and informed us that our balance is $1,556.23.

            KC began the unfinished business of the Halloween Hayride. To save time for other matters we decided to prolong the majority of the discussion to another date as a committee meeting. The committee meeting planned is taking place on Thursday the 25^th of September at 6:30.             

            Florida 4-H Participation Forms, Member Handbooks, Project Reports, and Events & Activities Handbooks were handed out to present members. Callie reported September’s County Council meeting and handed out pamphlets they had received at the meeting. 

            Since we finished earlier than planned, KC described more of what she has in plan for the hayride. We did not discuss anything of utmost importance and KC will probably repeat much of what was discussed concerning the hayride during the committee meeting. So, members that missed this meeting shouldn’t worry. 

            The meeting was then adjourned at 8:15 by KC, the motion was 2^nd by Rachel.
