Beginner through Advanced Levels
Mikenda Farm offers instruction for beginner riders through advanced levels of all ages. Our clientele ranges from young riders who are just beginning their experience with horses to mature adult riders competing regularly. For the beginner rider lessons include grooming and tacking instruction. "Own Horse" rates are for boarders taking lessons on their own horse. "Mikenda Farm Horse" rates are for students taking lessons on one of our horses.
Lesson Fees
- Per Half-Hour: Own Horse $35
- Per 45 min: Own Horse $45 | Mikenda Farm Horse $70
Series Package (once-a-week lessons)
- Four half-hour lessons: Own Horse $120
- Four 45 min lessons: Own Horse $160 | Mikenda Farm Horse $240
Super Series Package (twice-a-week lessons)
- Eight half-hour lessons: Own Horse $200
- Eight 45 min lessons: Own Horse $285
- Eight one-hour lessons: Mikenda Farm Horse $432
Series package clients must ride a minimum of once per week. Super Series clients must ride twice per week. Series are non-transferable and non-refundable, individual buyer/rider only;specific for own horse or Mikenda Farm horse. All series have a 30 day expiration from date of first lessons taken(all lessons must be used within 60 days of purchase). Reservations are required. Please arrive on time-arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be cancelled or time taken from riding lesson. Cancellations less than two hours in advance of lesson time will be charged as a lesson. Riding lessons may be given by ay of the instructors teaching at Mikenda Farm. Minors must be accompanied by a Parent/Guardian at all times while on Mikenda Farm property. Students will be required to sign a standard liability release form prior to the first lessons. Payments should be made directly to Mikenda Farm via cash, check, or via credit card.
